The Florida Prosecuting Attorneys Association (FPAA) is a non-profit corporation whose members are comprised of the 20 elected State Attorneys and over 2,000 Assistant State Attorneys in Florida. The FPAA was created to serve the needs of prosecutors. The primary functions of the Association are the education of prosecutors through training seminars and conferences, publications and technical support.
In addition to the written materials and videos that accompany each training seminar or conference, the FPAA produces a Trial Notebook and Domestic Violence Resource Handbook.
The FPAA is governed by a Board comprised of the 20 elected State Attorneys. The FPAA office consists of an Executive Director, an Office Manager and a VAWA (Violence Against Women Act) Grant Coordinator.
